WOODS SPORTING GOODS
Danny Woods established Woods Sporting Goods on July 19, 1971. When Danny ran the shop it was a full service sporting goods store handling not only fishing tackle and bait, but also hunting supplies, baseball and football equipment as well.
Over the past 40 years many things have changed in the store including the address. Due to the highway expansion we have been forced to move from our original location. We are now located just 2 blocks east on the south side of Veterans Memorial Hwy (Formally West South Omaha Bridge Rd). Today you can still count on the friendly knowledgeable service that Woods Sporting Goods has been known for for 40 years. Our staff prides itself on fishing knowledge and customer service. We look forward to seeing you in the store soon!
Our Store is open year-round. We stock minnows year round and you can rely on us for you ice fishing supplies as well.
