January 12, 2012 - Ice fishing may finally be just around the corner! After a very windy night, Lake Manawa is finally starting to build ice. There are areas of open water but hopefully when the winds finally die down the lake will be locked. Don' forget about the Lake Manawa fishing Derby on January 27th - we may be able to build enough ice by then!
January 18, 2012 - As of this morning Lake Manawa has both open water and 3-5 inches. People are fishing and catching crappies and wipers on old beach area. Cold weather the next couple of days should help! Be very careful.
January 19, 2012- PERFECT ICE BUILDING WEATHER!
